The OpenFF members are volunteer developers, designers, administrators and managers who are working together to create a open-source social network. OpenFF members believe in the guiding principles of Free/Open Source Software-. With that in mind, the volunteers working on OpenFF want to create a open platform that allows individual users to maintain (and/or regain) control of their own data, even in the event that an OpenFF-based service announces that it will be shutting down.
